NEWBURYPORT – Philip M. D’Allesandro, 64 of Newburyport, formerly of Beverly, husband of the late Theresa (LaBonte) (Felix) D’Allesandro, died at his home on Thursday, January 24, 2013, following a long illness. Born and raised in Beverly, he was the son of the late Matthew and Antoinette (Grocki) D’Allesandro and was a graduate of the Claud H. Patton Vocational High School in the class of 1966. Philip was a Vietnam Era veteran of the US Coast Guard. He served from 1967 to 1971 and attained the rating on Engineman Second Class Mr. D’Allesandro was employed for many years as a commercial pressman in the printing industry. He is survived by two daughters, Deanna D’Allesandro and Jennifer D’Allesandro, both of Nashua, NH, a step daughter, Suzanne Felix and her longtime companion, Carl Randall of Newburyport, a sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and David Frederick of Danvers a nephew, Michael Frederick of Danvers, a niece, Lindsay and her husband John Semas and a grand niece, Audrey Semas, all of North Dighton. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Private burial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
